Helmet. Wear it when you are on your bike during the 2Rivers Ride.
Carry a spare tube and C02 cartridge in case of a flat.
Duffel bag, sleeping bag, pillow, pad, tent, ground cloth, rope, stakes and a flashlight
Toiletries. Pack a towel, washcloth, toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, soap, deodorant, lotion,
toilet paper or Kleenex
Clothes – two sets of biking clothes, t-shirt, shorts, pants/jeans, warm-up suit, rain gear,
sleepwear. WEATHER CAN VARY so please pack accordingly.
First Aid. Ibuprofen or Asprin, vitamins, band aids, lip balm, sun block, insect repellent, first aid ointment
Bring an alarm clock, sun glasses, watch, earplugs, ID, credit cards, several plastic bags for rain
protection and zip lock bags. Be sure all your clothes are packed in a water tight plastic bag. A zip
lock bag will protect cell phone.
Bring cash for meals, $5 for breakfast, good will donations are accepted at the rest stop for the 62 milers
on Hwy52 and Apple tree road and $9 for Saturday night dinner catered at the High School. Plus
bring additional for extra stops and beverages.
Bring two water bottles for plenty of water when you are cycling.
Food. Bring power bars and snacks for along the way. In Yankton you WILL want to stop at
the Cottonwood Corral to fill your water bottles and fuel up with their delicious loose meat
sandwiches. The next rest stop is 25 miles. Rest area is Hwy 52 and Apple Tree Road. The Youth
Church Groups will be there with snacks and water. Good will donations accepted at the rest
area.
Sag wagon will be available if you need a break while on the ride.
Just a reminder if you do not want to complete the second day ride for any reason you will
need to make your own arrangements.
